Our consultative services are separate from our diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic-grade intervention services; we encourage you to schedule a consultation with a learning expert even if your child has already been diagnosed and/or is receiving accommodations and/or specially designed intervention.

Meet with an Educational Specialist for expert, customized help to identify the type, dosage, intensity, and scope of customized intervention your child needs. Perhaps your child has been receiving intervention or special education services at school or through private instruction apart from school, yet you are concerned that he or she is not responding adequately or acquiring skills well enough to close the gap with peers.
We will partner with you to determine necessary enhancements or adjustments to ensure your child can receive maximum benefit from his or her specialized intervention. You are welcome to invite other family members, your child’s school interventionist(s), and/or private instructor to this consultation.
Meet with an Educational Specialist or Dyslexia Therapist for expert, customized help with your child’s IEP. We encourage you to schedule a planning meeting with an Apples of Gold expert prior to your child’s IEP meeting to discuss your child’s learning challenges, response to intervention, progress, and instructional concerns. The expert will partner with you to craft a plan to ensure you are prepared to articulate and advocate for your child’s needs during the IEP meeting with the school team. Additionally, you are welcome to invite the Apples of Gold expert to attend the school IEP meeting via Zoom. If you desire to have a planning meeting before your child’s IEP meeting as well as receive personalized support during the actual IEP meeting with the school, please schedule two separate meetings.

Meet with an Educational Specialist for expert, customized help interpreting and understanding the diagnosis(es) and recommendations from your child’s psycho-educational, clinical report. If your child has been evaluated by a psychologist or other professional and you need support to understand the data, narrative, and/or the recommendations, we invite you to meet with an Apples of Gold Educational Specialist for customized support navigating the diagnostic findings. The Educational Specialist will help you deepen your understanding of your child’s constellation of strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, he or she will partner with you to develop a prioritized roadmap of the most effective interventions, therapies, and accommodations to help your learner overcome challenges and gain personal confidence.
Meet with an Educational Specialist for expert, customized guidance for personalized learning strategies for your child. Whether your child attends public school, private school, is dual-enrolled, or is homeschooled, an Apples of Gold expert will help you learn about powerful strategies and educational resources to cultivate your child’s potential without overwhelming him or her. Whether your child struggles with motivation, reading, memory, learning vocabulary, studying effectively, or other areas, the Apples of Gold expert will equip you with engaging tools to help your student overcome challenges.
Meet with an Educational Specialist or Educational Specialist (who has significant personal experience homeschooling their own children) for expert, customized help with home education curriculum, instruction, learning strategies, and/or schedule development to support your child’s unique constellation of strengths and weaknesses. Whether you are a new or veteran homeschooler, an Apples of Gold expert will collaborate with you to provide specific guidance to equip you to help your child overcome challenges based on your observations and/or results from a clinical evaluation/diagnosis. The Apples of Gold expert will assist you with curriculum selection, instruction adjustments, effective strategies, and accommodations based on your child’s unique learning profile, needs, interests, strengths, and motivation.
