Fast ForWord is an online program and may be accessed from the convenience of school or the comfort of home. Based on research-based dosage recommendations, your child will participate in the prescribed games five days per week for 30 minutes each day. Your child may complete the 30 minutes online before school, during the day, after school, or on the weekend. The days and times that your child engages with the program may vary to accommodate your scheduling needs as long as he or she participates five days a week (for most weeks) for about 30 minutes each day.
Each day when your child logs in, the adaptive program will assign two or three games to play and track detailed data regarding pacing, errors, and mastery. Once per week, you will receive an automated email with information about your child’s performance in each of the skill/ability areas.
Fast ForWord addresses underlying cognitive processes weaknesses, including working memory, attention, processing speed, auditory processing, phonological processing, and language processing.
